All are large, modern and in very good to excellent condition. The restaurant serves a high quality international menu. It is modern with light wood furnishing and beige walls. A very new and modern purpose built high-rise structure. The lobby is medium in size and modern throughout. It is open-plan with marble tiled flooring and walls. The reception area is to the right of the entrance and is a mixture of light wood pannelling and again a marble reception table top. Light colours are used throughout which along with the glass facade give a bright feel to the lobby. Directly in front of the reception area is plenty of seating space and also a lobby bar. This is an excellent hotel throughout. As with many Rio hotels it has a very small and nice rooftop pool and bar area with good views over Copacabana. It also has all other services expected for a first star hotel such as fitness centre, sauna and business centre. (08/06 RC)
