The bedrooms are large and nicely decorated with traditional style furnishings.All are in very good condition. For the connoisseurs of fine food,the stateroom restaurant offers an array of contemporary,highly individual dishes enriched by fresh seasonal delicacies gathered from local country markets. This hotel is a tradtional,imposing Queen Anne mansion which began life as the home of the Churchill family. In 1971 it assumed its position as one of the foremost country hotels in britain. The lobby is medium in size and nicely decorated in traditional style with marble columns, and ornate white plaster ceiling.
