Built in 1903 as a gentleman's residence, Benares has been a hotel since 1930. Although sympathetic additions have been made to the building over the years to ensure the comfort of the modern day guest, many of the unique features from its time as a private house remain. Lovely stained glass windows adorn the lounge, reception and landings whilst the rate Italian marble fireplace dominates the lounge. All rooms with bath, direct dial telephone and color TV.
