All of the rooms are medium in size and are en-suite with full facilities. They are all in a good condition, clean and functional. Some rooms have balconies overlooking the river. The restaurant offers British and European cuisine with views overlooking the river Leven. The bar also has a good sized terrace, which overlooks the river and is perfect for alfresco drinking in the Summer. It's stone and slate construction is a characteristic of the Lake District, although at five storey high its something of a rarity in the region. The Hotel is connected to the Leisure club via a bridge between the two buildings as they are situated on opposite sides of the road. The lobby is small and quaint. The health club - which is free for all residents - offers a large pool (recently refurbished and tiled), sauna and gymnasium, as well as a varied health and beauty treatment menu.
