The hotel boasts forty five bedrooms including a selection of four poster suites. The restaurant and breakfast room is a charming and bright room with big windows and a wonderful terrace overlooking the park where a typical English afternoon tea is served. It's a stunning Georgian style building. The mansion took its name from an earlier resident, the Sicilian Duke of Cannizaro and his Scottish wife. They lived here from 1817 until 1841, when they died within a few months of one another. The small lobby leads to the drawing room featuring a grand staircase to the right and a bar area to the left. This is 'London's first country house hotel' opened in June 1987 where today's guests still enjoy the perfect tranquillity and classic elegance of a past era. (RP0507)

From the A3, take the Tibbets Corner roundabout exit onto the A219 going south towards Wimbledon. Just past an old fountain on the right, turn right onto Cannizaro Road and take the second turning on the right onto Westside Common. Cannizaro House is 50 yards on the left.
