The rooms consist of two double beds in each twin room. Each room has remote control television with movie channel, hair dryer, hospitality tray and trouser press. Furnishings are plain but stylish and some floors are designated non smoking areas. The restaurant has been fitted to a high standard with an extensive buffet and ample seating. It is located next to the lobby area and it serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel is modern in design as it was only built in 1990, but has been built in keeping with the traditional buildings of Cambridge. The lobby area is raised from the ground floor and accessed by escalator or stairs. It has a marble floor throughout and is surrounded by the restaurant and the bar which has extensive seating. This is one of the finest hotels in Cambridge. Located in the city centre and only a very short walk from the shops and life of this historic town.
