The hotel has 102 bedrooms of which all are en suite, with marble tiled bathrooms, hair dryers, direct dial telephones and broadband ADSL internet points. All rooms are continually refurbished year by year, and therefore are clean, smart, modern and this year LCD TV's were added thus furthening the hotel's attempts to keep up with current trends. Styled on a traditional French brasserie, the restaurant offers a superb selection of French and English dishes and fresh seafood is a speciality of the house. The La Brasserie restaurant is situated on the ground floor of the hotel and can be reached via the lovely spiral staircase which descends from the elegant Piano Bar. A Victorian building overlooking Douglas Bay with a large conservatory going the full length of the building. A large sized lobby with plenty of seating. The lobby is full of natural character and light from the atrium windows above. It leads into the lounge where light snacks are served all day. The hotel has a decent sized gym and a health club with a swimming pool, sauna, steam room & sun bed. This is a very good quality hotel with an excellent location within Douglas. (GW 08/2008)
