residencial jenny has opened in 2003. It offers splendid views over the
bay of mindelo and is located approximately 100 m from the town centre.
the residence has 20 rooms in total. Some have view of the bay and
others to the patio.5 double rooms and 5 suites have a balcony with a
bay view. Also with bathroom, fridge,tv terrasse and air conditioning.it
is these rooms which we recommend. The other 10 rooms have a view to the
inside patio and only have a shower and no air conditioning. The view
from above the hill where the pension is situated is impressive. It is
placed on the historical furtinho, which used to be a fortress.you see
monte cara and the busy harbour of mindelo city.other facilities include
a small bar, breakfast room and outdoor patio area. The nearby
restaurant (independently owned) provides pleasant cape verdian food.the
french owner provides a french breakfast with typical croissants because
he wons a bakery in mindelo city.a family run pension and very charming
service.
