The rooms vary in size but are mainly medium-sized and kept in good condition. Rooms are tastefully decorated in a traditional manner, with antique-style furniture. The restaurant is located off the lobby, again furnished in antique style. It serves a rich buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is an historic, stone building. The lobby is very small with an old fashioned lift to one side. The reception area is also small and is decorated in marble. This one of the oldest hotels in Egypt, and is full of antiques. ME 07/08
