The rooms are medium sized and modern with cool grey colour schemes and good quality modern furniture. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in exceptional condition. The restaurant is a large, high-ceilinged area adjacent to the lobby, incorporating the bar, the a la carte area and the normal buffet meals area. It is decorated in a modern style with rustic touches. The hotel is modern with a pale grey facade. The lobby is large with a high ceiling. One wall is entirely made of glass and the visitor is treated to fabulous views over the surrounding fells and plains and right across to more fells over the Russian border some 70kms away. This is an excellent sport hotel, benefiting richly from that relatively rare Lappish commodity - a gorgeous view. It comes highly recommended for both groups and individual travellers. RY0804
