Goldener Hecht is a small family hotel. You will soon grow fond of the view from your room of the Old Bridge as the great Romantic poets once did. You will find yesterdays atmosphere combined with the comfort of today. This traditional hotel is managed by the Rothe family in the 3rd generation. The proprietress, Eva Rothe, has had the house with 13 rooms renovated and carefully modernized. By the way, Goethe asked for a lodging at the Goldener Hecht. His luck was not so good, all rooms were occupied. Nowadays, the poet would make sure he had a reservation.
