Opened in the year 2000, the Olive Tree Jerusalem Hotel was constructed in a former olive grove where, according to legend, the caravans of pilgrims sought refuge and rest before entering the sacred city. Free entry to the Olympic City of the Hebrew University, several kilometres from the hotel, where there is an indoor swimming pool, gym, tennis courts etc.
