The rooms are medium in size and rooms are in fair condition as are the bathrooms. Furniture and decoration is dated. The roof restaurant is very elegantly decorated and offers both Lebanese and international meals. There is a snack "gourmandise" adjacent to the hotel. The building is traditional with no outstanding features of any note. The lobby is very spacious and decorated with luxurious furniture. Marble and gold are everywhere. There are many comfortable seats. This is a budget hotel in the centre of the city. (BL 12/03)
