Rooms are decorated in two different schemes, a traditional rich English style and a lighter Swedish style. All rooms are well equipped and come with comfortable beds and smart furnishings. The bathrooms are all in good condition. All rooms in the hotel are non-smoking rooms. Breakfast is served in the medieval vaulted breakfast room under the hotel. This is a very traditional building of the area with history dating back to the 13th century, both Danish and Swedish Kings have visited this remarkable building when it functioned as the residence of the governor of Malmö. The lobby is medium in size and complements the property very well. Coffee/ tea and fruit are normally available in the cosy lounge adjoining the lounge and are complimentary. The lobby also offers wireless Internet access as does approximately 70% of the hotel. This is a charming and centrally located property which was voted Best Hotel in Malmö in 2003 & 2004. It offers the chance to stay in a 700-year old historic building whilst being near transport links and restaurants. (10/07 MK)
