The air-conditioned beach hotel comprises a total of 455 rooms. The impressive lobby offers guests a 24-hour reception desk, a lift, a currency exchange counter and a safe. Guests are greeted by staff and shown to their room, making check-in as private and pleasant as possible. Facilities here include a bar, a newspaper stand, a hairdresser and several shops. Culinary options include an à la carte restaurant with highchairs available for children. A conference room and an Internet connection can also be taken advantage of. Room and laundry services complete the offerings and there is a car park available for guests arriving by car.
The luxurious rooms all come with a bathroom with hairdryer. On checking in, guests will find a bowl of fresh fruit and Halekulani chocolate awaiting them. **The hotel is planning a restoration project for guest rooms and public areas beginning September 2008 and expected to finish December 18, 2008 with work scheduled from Monday thru Friday during the hours of 9:00 h - 17:00 h. The following are scheduled projects: |- Floor closures to accommodate installation of carpets, LCD TV's and guestroom credenzas.|- The Porte Cochere will be temporarily relocated approximately during resurfacing of the driveway.|- Remodeling for a Custom Suite on the ground floor of the Ewa Tower.|- Main Building: 2nd floor: Remodeling function rooms and the La Mer Foyer. 1st floor: Replacement of the wooden flooring. Afternoon Tea in the Veranda and Lewers Lounge will be relocated during this part of the restoration. Pool, spa and restaurants will remain open. The fitness room and the hospitality suite and business center are scheduled for renovation in November. Please be advised that the above list and project dates are subject to change.
