PUB STYLE ACCOMMODATION. Rooms are comfortable and clean, and are well maintained. They have polished wooden floorboards, air-conditioning, television and private bathrooms. This is pub style accommodation, with the pub located on the ground floor, and the rooms located on level two above. Alice's restaurant upstairs is open 7 days for lunch and dinner. The menu serves Thai dishes, as well as a good variety of continental choices such as burgers, steaks and salads. Quaint pub on a busy street corner, a popular watering hole for locals. On the lower ground floor is a microbrewery, with the pub itself on the ground floor. Level 1 is where you will find the restaurant and level 2 is accommodation. You can check in to your accommodation on level two. (As you enter the pub on the ground floor level, you will find the stairs in the far left corner). Although small, the reception area does have an Internet terminal and some seating is available. The check in counter is reminiscent of old English style boutique pub accommodation. If you are looking for a place with character, this is it! The accommodation is charming, secure and of a good standard. The only consideration to keep in mind is the pub downstairs, which may suit some more than others. NH1211 Continental breakfast is included in the accommodation rates.
