Derwent Hideaway is a fully furnished 1950's self contained house with absolute waterfront to the Derwent river and great views of the Derwent, yachts at anchor and Mount Direction. Located at 4 Harbinger Lane Austins Ferry off Austins Ferry road Derwent Hideaway has three bedrooms, a bathroom with seperate toilet and wash basin, fully equipped brand new kitchen and laundry, barbecue, towels, linen, TV, stereo etc. Derwent Hideaway sleeps up to nine people and one baby (See Room/Bed Configuration). All main rooms have wonderful views of the Derwent River and Mount Direction. It has a large riverside garden dominated by two ancient oaks and at the rear there is a large pet enclosure. The property is surrounded by water and there is parkland on the other side of Harbinger Lane. The local Yacht club and launching ramp at the waterside end of Austins Ferry Road and shops and public transport at the other are both a short walk away and easily accessed by vehicle. Derwent Hideaway is an ideal base for business or pleasure as it is close to major businesses and tourist attractions and the Brooker highway which is the main route to Tasmanias west and north from Hobart. To get to the property you actually drive past historic James Austin Park where the first ferry in Tasmania and second oldest building in Tasmania are located. Derwent Hideaway is rented short to medium term at competitive rates and is suitable for business people looking for somewhere to stay, a retreat or quiet place to work or holiday makers keen on sampling the many attractions that the Hobart region is famous for.
