Beschreibung des Hotels

Das Wyndham Arms Hotel liegt im malerischen, typisch englischen Dörfchen Clearwell. Das Hauptgebäude des Hotels stammt aus dem 13. Jahrhundert. Im Lauf der Jahre wurde das Gebäude erweitert und beeindruckt heute seine Gäste mit Eichenholzbalken, offenem Kaminfeuer und einer einladenden Atmosphäre. Das Dorf liegt in einem sanften Tal am Rande des Royal Forest of Dean und des Wye Valley, umgeben von naturbelassenen Wäldern und klaren Flüssen. Bei schönem Wetter kann man wunderbar draußen sitzen, wenn es kühler wird, dann wartet nach einem langen ?Wandertag? ein warmes Kaminfeuer. Die abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte mit frischen Produkten aus lokaler Erzeugung wird durch ebenfalls lokal gebrautes Bier, Cider und Landweine ergänzt. Alle Gästezimmer haben ein angeschlossenes Bad. Im Hauptgebäude gibt es auch eine große Suite mit romantischen Eichenbalken und Wohnbereich sowie zwei Zimmer mit Himmelbett.From the south and east- Take M4 towards Wales. At Junction 21 turn onto M48 for Chepstow. Go over bridge (£5.10 for cars) and turn off at Junction 2 signed M48 Chepstow.At the roundabout take A48 in the direction of Gloucester. Follow this road over the old bridge and take the B4228 to Coleford and The Forest of Dean. Follow this road for about 10 miles throught St Briavels and some 2 miles further on Clearwell is signposted on your left. The hotel is by the cross as you come down the hill.From the Midlands-Take the M5 south at Junction 8. Take M50 to Ross-on-Wye and carry on A40 to Monmouth. From Monmouth take A466 for Chepstow. After 3 miles turn left at Redbrook on B4231. Go through Newland and Clearwell is 2 miles further on. The hotel is on the right by the cross.From Glouester-Take A48 south towards Chepstow and after about 12 miles turn right to Lydney. Turn right (opposite Tesco) on to B4231 to Coleford. Two miles after Bream turn right at the T junction and then first left to Clearwell. The hotel is by the Cross as you come down the hill.
