With its elegant Jacobean Great Hall, the Visit England four star Thurnham Hall Resort is a 12th-century country estate set in nearly 30 acres of grounds in scenic Lancashire. It features a leisure centre with heated indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna, fitness centre and beauty salon, available for a surcharge. The grounds include a picnic area, fishing lake and playground. Set in either the historic main house or in modern courtyard buildings, the spacious apartments include a well-equipped kitchen with hob, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, kettle and coffee machine.
