Just a short stroll from the centre of the market town of Mazamet, La Villa is one of the area's landmark buildings dating to a time when Mazamet had world importance for its wool industry. 45km north of Carcassonne and 60km south of Albi, a perfect spot ofr exploring the area. After extensive renovations (from late 2005 to May 2009), La Villa de Mazamet now opens its doors as a luxury "Chambres d'hôtes tables d'hôtes" (bed & breakfast with fixed menu table d'hôtes restaurant) - offering five sumptuous guest bedrooms, dining room, gardens & swimming pool. Whether staying for the duration of your French holiday, or for a few days en-route to other locations, La Villa de Mazamet provides an ideal base from which to explore all that the Department of the Tarn (set in the Midi-Pyrenees region) and its neighbouring Languedoc-Roussillon have to offer.
