L'Ile d'Oléron is a lovely destination, often called "perfume island", with its bright coloured traditional fishing villages, its forests, its beaches and the warm sunshine. There are plenty of sights worth visiting including the famous Château d'Oléron.
The new campsite Monplaisir on the island of Oléron in the Charentes Maritime is 700m from the centre of the village of St Trojan les Bains and 1. 5km from the Petite Plage beach and 4. 5km from the Grande Plage beach. The campsite is made up of mobile homes, sleeping 4 to 8 people each fully-equipped with a small terrace with garden furniture.
