Located in Tavel, a vineyard renowned in France for its rosé wine, this former school is now a guest hotel and a charming restaurant. The establishment is made of village stones, and the many exposed beams make it a warm and friendly place. The rooms at Auberge de Tavel are uniquely decorated in a simple and elegant style, combining contemporary colors and antique furniture. All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom, mini bar, courtesy tray, individual safe, and are air-conditioned. Please note that the local city tax is never included in the rate you paid or you reserved. You have to pay it at your departure. The dining room, near the fireplace, was the old classroom for the village students. In summer, dinners are served on the shaded terrace. You can also enjoy a drink in the lounge by the fireplace on winter evenings. The restaurant is closed Wednesday and Thursday all day. We appreciate you tasting our restaurant when we are open. Animals are welcome with a supplement. Auberge de Tavel has a closed car park with 6 closed spaces and 5 along the perimeter wall with video surveillance. However, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE to make a reservation, as customers settle in upon arrival. We can not guarantee you a place available. It is important to note that on Wednesdays and Thursdays, arrivals can only be done until 7:30 p.m. Looking forward to welcoming you, the whole team is at your disposal
