THE GARDENS AND OLIVE GROVES
The gardens at La Pensione surround the internal courtyard, where breakfast is served in the mornings. Follow a stone path through the garden, among rosemary shrubs, roses bushes and jasmine, to the olive grove. Here your gaze may wander off towards the hills. In amongst these Chianti hills, you'll notice the Vignamaggio and Vitigliano villas dominating the valley.
