The 4-star Hotel Engel offers a well-equipped wellness centre, free parking, and a restaurant serving local cuisine. It is located at the northern tip of the Stelvio National Park, in Sluderno. The elegant rooms at the family-run Engel come with light-wood furniture and either carpeted or wooden floors. Each has a sofa, minibar and an LCD TV. Free wired internet is available. The wellness centre offers a sauna, hot tub and Turkish bath, as well as massage service and an equipped gym. Ski lovers can rent ski equipment on site, and also buy ski passes. The Watles ski slopes are 15 km away and can be reached via the free local ski bus. The stop is located 100 metres from the hotel. In the winter season rates include bus transfers to a variety of areas, the schedule is displayed at the hotel reception. In the winter season beginners can enjoy a free ski course for which more information can be gained upon arrival.
