Located in the heart of the Kurashiki Bikan district, Kurashiki Guest House Yuurin-An provides Japanese-style accommodation in a 100-year old traditional house and is located a 1-minute walk from Ohara Art Museum, a 5-minute walk from Tsurugatayama Park and Achi Shrine and a 13-minute walk from JR Kurashiki Train Station. All rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring and are fitted with bunk beds or Japanese futon bedding. There is a shared shower room with shampoo, soap and a hair dryer available for a limited time. There is a shared kitchen on site which comes with a microwave and kitchenware. During the day Yuurin-An operates as a cafe serving light meals and desserts and at night it turns into a guesthouse. Guests staying longer than 1 day can leave their belongings in a secure common area at the property. Every day between 18:30 and 19:00, the property holds sessions where guests can talk and get to know each other.
