The lodge is located 3 minutes' drive from Masterton's town centre on the main road running north/south through Masterton. It is approximately 70 minutes from Wellington International Airport, the Interislander Ferry terminal and Palmerston North and 2 hours south of Napier and Hastings.
The venue is peaceful and private, set in 2.5 hectares of landscaped grounds, providing great opportunities for onsite team building. There are 21 guest rooms at this guesthouse and guests are welcomed in a lobby. The conference centre and function room with its superb rural outlook and abundance of natural light is ideal for residential conferences, strategic planning, board meetings, small exhibitions, seminars, retreats, meetings, cocktail parties and special functions. The hotel's highly regarded Lodge Restaurant can provide all guests' catering and meal requirements. The restaurant also offers room service (fees apply). In addition, there is a children's play area, car park and a laundry service (fees apply to the latter).
The quiet, spacious, well-appointed rooms enhanced with native rimu are tastefully decorated. Serviced daily, guests are provided with complimentary plunger coffee and a tea/coffee selection in the kitchen and toiletries in the en suite bathroom. Each room has a double bed, satellite/cable TV and Internet access. All 21 rooms have double doors opening out to a private landscaped park-like grass courtyard with views of the Tararua Mountains or the swimming pool.
