The hotel is situated in the heart of Fjord Norway, some 68 km from Ålesund, in the heart of picturesque mountains, fjords, and waterfalls in Sunnmøre. Skiing regions can be found within 7 km of the hotel, while the beach is some 2 km away.
This is a charming, rural hotel which is in touch with nature and the local environment of Stranda village, offering many exciting winter and summer activities. Built in 1917 and renovated in 2012, the 62-room hotel welcomes guests in the lobby with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, including lift access to the upper floors, as well as a cafe, bar and restaurant.
