The former "Casa dos Laranjais" at 333 Almada Street has recently undergone a complete renovation. This
beautifully renovated 18th century building is now known as Laranjais.
While preserving typical architectural elements of a 17th century building, such as the facade and vintage
interiors, the entire building was completely renovated by a team of historians and designers to bring it into the
21st century. The entire restoration was completed in April 2021, and a premium hospitality project is now born,
with 24 themed apartments, celebrating the history of the building. Each of the apartments uses for its
inspiration several icons from the Fashion world, thus paying homage to one of the several businesses that this
house hosted in the past: a fashion magazine from the late 19th century. Through this theme, the apartments
were equipped and decorated with the highest standards of quality in furniture, materials, and comfort.
At Laranjais, everything was idealized to the smallest detail: the decoration, the soundtrack and the quality of
Portuguese textiles come together to form a sophisticated artistic canvas amplified by premium comfort.
