A trip up the Pacific Coast Highway is made even better with a stay at our friendly, boutique hotel with views of the coast and sounds of the Pacific. Take a few days to enjoy the great beach breezes, or hop off Highway 1 to get some rest before continuing your journey. Either way, our friendly staff, and comfortable rooms will make your stay memorable.
No need to skip the gym; you can get your workout in at our fitness center, complete with a treadmill, row machine, and weight equipment. Make sure to work up an appetite because we offer our guests a full breakfast spread with coffee, juices, cereals, and delicious hot breakfast options.
A short walk across the street lies the Friends of The Elephant Seal Visitor Center and Gift Shop, where visitors can take in coastal views while making their way along boardwalks and walkways to view families of elephant seals on the beach. Hearst Castle, a historic estate built in 1919, is a short 5-minute journey from the hotel. Here, visitors can learn more about the history of William Randolph Hearst and may even catch a glimpse of some surviving species of animals, like zebra, from the zoo that once existed there.
Back on the property, enjoy lunch or dinner at the Big Sur restaurant, or check out our game room before settling back into your cozy room.
