This is a rural house that combines modernity with a firm tradition, near Canigó Mountain and the protected sanctuary of Mare de Déu del Mont.

A traditional country mansion from the 17th century, this establishment has been restored as a genuine oasis of tranquillity and beauty. Six kilometres from Figueres, this is the perfect place from which to explore the l'Empordà region. You have both mountains and sea within easy reach here, meaning you can get involved in a range of outdoor activities. This is a very special place for those who love rural tourism.


The ground floor includes a comfortable lounge and two dining rooms.

Guests are welcome to use the gardens of the family house, Can Prat, a perfect setting to enjoy this quiet oasis of peace and beauty created in the 1960s.

There is a swimming pool in the summer. Challenge your friends to a game of tennis or football as well as other outdoor activities within the different areas of Mas Jonquer.

We have eight attractive and comfortable bedrooms combining tradition and modern design. They all boast breathtaking views of the Empordà landscape. One of the rooms is adapted to the needs of people with disabilities (pets are only allowed in this room).


Cuisine is one of the great attractions of Empordà, the full and traditional breakfast served in Mas Jonquer certainly does not disappoint in this respect.

Dining in the hotel is optional and consists of a menu based on traditional regional family cooking.
